Billy Twomey

Working as Michael Whitaker’s stable jockey in his youth proved a key opportunity to learn and since then, Billy Twomy has gone from strength to strength. Now a feature in the Rolex World Rankings top ten, Billy is one of Ireland’s finest show jumpers. Career highlights include a win at the Global Champions Tour CSI5* Grand Prix in Valencia and Basel (both in 2011), and 6th place at the Nations Cup in Aachen in 2006. Tinka’s Serenade is his favourite horse to ride and his parents are his greatest influence. He describes Global Champions Tour as ‘the very best show in the world.’
