Born in Denmark, Emilie first took an interest in riding when her parents bought her a pony so she could take part in foxhunting with them. Fortuitously for Emilie as it later turned out to be, she didn’t enjoy hunting and took up showjumping instead. Some years on and with a successful international career to her name, Emilie now ranks 8th in the World Cup Western European League standings. The most memorable moments in her career were when Denmark made the Super League for the first time and when she won the Danish Championship. Heavily influenced by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Emilie’s motto is that hard work pays off. She describes Global Champions Tour as ‘the best organisation, amazing locations, top sport.’
