Favorite Horses
Hans-Dieter began horseback riding in his father’s school when he was a child. Today he holds an impressive record of wins, including the Grand Prix at Piotello, Lyon, Braunschweig and München. He also came 2nd on the NRW in Aachen, 4th at the Grand Prix in London as well as the World Cup in Mechelen and the Grand Prix in Mannheim. He counts being placed in the Grand Prix at Aachen as one of the most memorable moments of his career. His best-loved horses have been Magnus Romeo, Embassy and Constantin, and his advice to other riders is to always “be fair to your horses.”
