Jodie Hall McAteer Claims First Win of LGCT Shanghai in the CSI5* Two Phase Special

A thrilling competition in the CSI5* Two Phase Special 1.45m kicked off the competition at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Shanghai. Spectators witnessed an impressive line-up of riders vie for the top spot in the newly built Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Centre. 

Great Britain’s Jodie Hall McAteer riding Kimosa van het Kritrahof dazzled the crowd in Shanghai with a flawless round, claiming victory by over 2 seconds. Pius Schwizer of Switzerland expertly navigated his mount Chill Ma through the challenging course, earning the pair a well-deserved second place. Close behind was Ireland’s Denis Lynch aboard Cordial who put in a quick, clear round to earn third place.

Rounding out the top five was Germany’s Marcus Ehning, riding DPS Revere, who secured fourth place with a quick, clear round. Hot on his heels was Jérôme Guery of Belgium aboard Careca LS Elite who rode clear to secure fifth place.

9th Place - Edwina Tops-Alexander, Corelli de Mies (AUS)     

10th Place - Andreas Schou, Napoli vh Nederassenthof (DEN)
