Global Champions Tour welcomes Lausanne, home of the Olympic Committee and the FEI, to its world class circuit. Lausanne’s unique and beautiful location on the shores of Lake Geneva is a perfect compliment to the stunning destinations on the prestigious Global Champions Tour. Switzerland has a proud history of show jumping with internationally acclaimed riders who take part in the GCT.
With views of the breathtaking lake the best riders in the world will compete from 14-16 September for GCT ranking points and prize money at the event, which takes place in conjunction with the Lausanne International Horse Show.
The venue, Bellerive, is the hub of important sporting and cultural events in the region and will be a fantastic experience for fans of show jumping and those who simply want to enjoy a great day out with family and friends.
As well as the world class CSI 5* competitions, including the GCT Grand Prix, there will be special CSI 2* events for amateur riders and stunning performances at night.Vibrant Lausanne has sport at its heart and in 1994 it was awarded the title of Olympic Capital for its devotion to the Olympic Movement and sport in general.
Lausanne, and the surrounding region of Vaud, is now home to over to 50 international sports organizations.
